Terms of Service
Effective Date: June 01, 2026Last Updated: June 01, 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Service and Member Agreement (“Terms” or “Agreement”) constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Soc Network, Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in Los Angeles, California (“Soc,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Soc platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, accepting an invitation to join Soc, paying membership dues, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines, and the Soc Constitution (collectively, the “Soc Documents”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
The Soc Constitution is the foundational document describing what Soc is and what we commit to as a community. These Terms operationalize that Constitution in legally binding form. Where these Terms and the Constitution address the same subject, they are intended to be consistent. If a genuine conflict arises, the Constitution governs the spirit and intent, and these Terms govern the legal interpretation.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service and that they have read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Additional protections apply to members under 18, as described in the Soc Constitution and Section 14 of these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Membership
2.1 Eligibility Requirements
To become a Soc member, you must:
- Be a single, living human individual (organizations, businesses, AI systems, automated agents, and shared accounts are not eligible);
- Be at least 13 years of age;
- Have received a valid invitation from an existing Soc member;
- Successfully complete Soc’s identity verification process, including providing a government-issued ID and a current photograph for biometric matching;
- Pay the membership dues applicable to your membership tier; and
- Agree to and continue to comply with these Terms, the Soc Constitution, and all other Soc Documents.
2.2 One Person, One Account
Each member is permitted only one Soc account. Maintaining multiple accounts, allowing another person to operate your account, transferring your account, or sharing account access is a material breach of these Terms and grounds for immediate suspension or termination.
2.3 Verified Identity
Your Soc account must accurately reflect your verified real-world identity. The name displayed on your account must match the name on your government-issued ID, subject to reasonable accommodations for legal name changes, common variations (nicknames derived from your legal name, married/maiden names), and the privacy considerations described in the Constitution. You may not present an identity on Soc that conflicts with your verified identity.
2.4 Re-Verification
Soc may require you to re-verify your identity at any time, including: (a) periodically as part of routine account maintenance; (b) when behavioral signals suggest your account may have changed hands or been compromised; (c) following a security incident; or (d) when otherwise reasonable to confirm continued eligibility. Failure to complete re-verification within the time period specified will result in account suspension and may result in termination.
2.5 Invitations
Membership is by invitation only. Each existing member receives a limited number of invitations to extend at their discretion, subject to the limits described in the Soc Constitution. Invitations:
- Are personal acts of community curation, not transferable assets;
- May not be sold, traded, transferred to third parties, or used as compensation in any external arrangement;
- May be revoked by the inviting member or by Soc before the invited person completes onboarding; and
- Do not guarantee membership — invited persons must still complete verification and agree to these Terms.
Selling, brokering, or commercializing Soc invitations is grounds for immediate termination of the offering member’s account.
3. Membership Tiers and Dues
3.1 Membership Tiers
Soc operates on a tiered membership system. Your membership tier is determined by the order in which you join Soc and is locked at the time of your enrollment. Tiers are:
| Tier | Member Numbers | Monthly Rate | Annual Rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Founding Members | #1 – #10,000 | $20.00 | $200.00 |
| Season 2 Members | #10,001 – #100,000 | $25.00 | $250.00 |
| Season 3 Members | #100,001 – #1,000,000 | $30.00 | $300.00 |
3.2 Tier Lock
Once you have enrolled and paid your initial membership dues, your tier and pricing are locked for the duration of your continuous membership. If your membership lapses, terminates, or is voluntarily ended and you later rejoin, you will be enrolled at the tier and pricing then-current at the time of rejoining, not your original tier.
3.3 Future Tiers
Soc may, at its discretion, introduce additional membership tiers beyond Season 3. The pricing and terms of any future tiers will be communicated in advance and will not affect the pricing of existing members within their existing tier.
3.4 Payment Terms
Membership dues are billed in advance, either monthly or annually depending on the plan you select. By providing a payment method, you authorize Soc and our payment processor to charge that method for the applicable membership dues, plus any taxes, on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method. If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may give you a reasonable opportunity to update your payment method before suspending or terminating your membership.
3.5 Changes to Pricing
Soc will not increase the dues for your tier during your continuous membership. If we change pricing for new members in your tier or for future tiers, that change will not affect you unless you allow your membership to lapse and then rejoin.
3.6 Refunds
Membership dues are generally non-refundable. However:
- Annual plans: If you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of the initial purchase, you are entitled to a full refund. After 14 days, no refund is provided for the unused portion of the annual term, but you will retain access to the Service through the end of the period for which you have paid.
- Monthly plans: Cancellation of a monthly plan takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for monthly plans.
- Termination by Soc: If Soc terminates your membership for cause (i.e., for violation of these Terms or the Soc Constitution), no refund is provided. If Soc terminates your membership without cause, we will refund a pro-rated portion of any prepaid dues for the unused portion of your billing period.
- Statutory rights: Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund rights you may have under applicable law.
3.7 Taxes
Membership dues are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout where required.
4. Your Account and Security
4.1 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. Soc may offer one or more authentication methods, which may include passkeys, passwords, biometric authentication, hardware security keys, multi-factor authentication, or other mechanisms, and may add, modify, or retire authentication methods over time. Regardless of the authentication method or methods you use, you agree to:
- Keep your authentication credentials and any associated devices secure and not share them with, or make them accessible to, any other person;
- Notify Soc promptly of any unauthorized access to or use of your account, or any loss, theft, or compromise of a device or credential used to access your account;
- Use the strongest authentication options reasonably available to you and enable any additional security features Soc makes available, including multi-factor authentication where offered; and
- Operate the account yourself, in accordance with the verified-identity requirement in Section 2.3.
4.2 Compromised Accounts
If Soc reasonably believes your account has been compromised or is being operated by someone other than the verified member, we may suspend the account, require re-verification, and take other reasonable steps to protect the account holder and the community.
4.3 Account Recovery
If you lose access to your account, we will work with you to restore access following identity re-verification. Soc may decline to restore access if we cannot reasonably confirm you are the verified member.
5. Member Conduct and Community Standards
5.1 Community Standards Apply
Your conduct on Soc is governed by the Community Standards described in Part II of the Soc Constitution and summarized in our Community Guidelines. By using the Service, you agree to comply with those standards in full.
5.2 Prohibited Conduct
Without limiting the Community Standards, you specifically agree not to:
- Engage in Hostile Behavior, including harassment, threats, hate-based hostility, doxxing, or cruelty toward identifiable third parties;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Operate or facilitate the operation of bots, automated agents, or non-human accounts;
- Use Soc for advertising, commercial promotion, or commercialization of your membership;
- Violate the privacy of other members or non-members, including by sharing content beyond its intended audience;
- Post clickbait or ragebait designed to deceive or manipulate;
- Post political content as defined in the Constitution;
- Post content that violates the intellectual property rights of others;
- Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or that constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation;
- Attempt to circumvent our moderation systems, including by using coded language, image manipulation, or other evasion techniques;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code or underlying data of the Service, except as expressly permitted by law;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware, conducting denial-of-service attacks, or exploiting security vulnerabilities;
- Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation; or
- Encourage or assist any third party in any of the foregoing.
5.3 Reporting Violations
You may report content or conduct that you believe violates these Terms or the Community Standards through the in-app reporting feature. Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team in accordance with the procedures described in the Constitution.
6. Content and Licensing
6.1 You Own Your Content
You retain all ownership rights in the content you create and post on Soc, subject to the rights of any third parties whose content you incorporate. Soc claims no ownership of member content.
6.2 License to Soc
To operate the Service, Soc requires a limited license to your content. You grant Soc a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable (only to our service providers and only as necessary to operate the Service) license to host, store, transmit, display, reproduce, modify (only for technical purposes such as resizing, format conversion, and content delivery optimization), and distribute your content solely for the following purposes:
- Operating and providing the Service to you and to the audiences you have selected;
- Performing content moderation in accordance with the Soc Constitution;
- Backing up and securing your content;
- Complying with legal obligations; and
- Improving the Service in ways consistent with the Soc Constitution and Privacy Policy.
This license terminates when you delete the content or when your membership ends, except as necessary for: (i) backup and disaster recovery copies maintained for a reasonable period; (ii) content that other members have permissibly preserved within the Service (e.g., a comment of yours quoted in another member’s post that has not itself been deleted); and (iii) anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.
6.3 Restrictions on Soc’s License
The license granted in Section 6.2 is strictly limited. Soc will not:
- Use your content to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models, whether our own or any third party’s;
- Sell, license, or otherwise commercialize your content to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party;
- Use your content for advertising or promotional purposes outside the Service without your separate consent;
- Build behavioral profiles of you for advertising or third-party use;
- Share your content beyond the audience you selected, except as required by law or to operate the Service; or
- Use your content in any way inconsistent with the Soc Constitution.
6.4 Content Moderation
By posting content on Soc, you acknowledge that your content will be reviewed by our AI-assisted moderation system before being made available to your audience, and may be reviewed by human moderators in connection with reports, appeals, or pattern detection. Content that violates our Community Standards may be held, removed, or otherwise restricted in accordance with the procedures described in the Constitution.
6.5 Audience Choice
When you post content, you select the audience permitted to see it. The audience you select represents the limit of your consent to share. Other members are required by these Terms not to copy, screenshot, transcribe, or otherwise share your content beyond the audience you selected, subject to limited exceptions described in the Constitution.
6.6 Content of Others
You may encounter content posted by other members. That content remains the property of its author and is governed by the same restrictions described in Section 6.5. You may not screenshot, copy, transcribe, or share another member’s content beyond the audience that member selected, except as expressly permitted by the Constitution.
6.7 Soc’s Own Content
Soc’s name, logo, trademarks, software, design elements, and other proprietary content are owned by Soc and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use Soc’s intellectual property without our written permission, except as necessary to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
6.8 DMCA and Copyright Claims
Soc complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on Soc infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice in accordance with our DMCA Policy, available at [URL]. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
7. Privacy and Data
Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at [URL], and by the data commitments described in Part III of the Soc Constitution. By using the Service, you consent to our collection, use, and processing of your information as described in those documents.
Key commitments include:
- We collect only what we need to operate the community;
- We do not sell member data;
- We do not have advertisers, and we do not share data with advertisers or data brokers;
- We do not use your content to train AI models;
- We honor data deletion requests in accordance with the Constitution and applicable law; and
- We notify you of material privacy incidents in accordance with applicable law and our published security commitments.
8. Service Availability and Modifications
8.1 Service Availability
Soc strives to maintain reliable Service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8.2 Modifications to the Service
Soc may modify, add to, or discontinue features of the Service from time to time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes that affect your use of the Service. We will not make changes that materially diminish the core commitments described in the Soc Constitution without following the modification procedures described there.
8.3 Modifications to These Terms
Soc may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to members at least 30 days in advance, and members will be given an opportunity to review the changes before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of modified Terms constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to a modification, your remedy is to terminate your membership before the effective date.
Where these Terms are modified to comply with new legal requirements or to address security or safety issues, shorter notice periods may be required.
8.4 Versioning and Access to Prior Versions
In keeping with the Constitution’s commitment to allow members to see the rules they joined under, Soc will maintain accessible records of prior versions of these Terms and the date each version was in effect. Members may request a copy of the Terms version applicable at the time of any specific event affecting their membership.
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your membership at any time, for any reason, through the in-app account settings. Termination takes effect immediately, except as needed to complete pending billing cycles for monthly plans (in which case access continues through the end of the cycle).
Upon termination, your account will be deactivated and your content will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Constitution’s data deletion provisions.
9.2 Termination by Soc
Soc may suspend or terminate your membership for the following reasons:
- Material breach of these Terms or the Community Standards;
- Failure to pay membership dues after a reasonable cure period;
- Failure to complete required identity re-verification;
- Repeated violations of the Community Standards, even if individually minor;
- Engaging in conduct that poses a serious risk to other members, to Soc, or to the integrity of the community;
- Court order, valid legal process, or other legal requirement; or
- If Soc ceases to operate the Service.
9.3 Process for Termination by Soc
Except in cases of immediate safety concerns or legal compulsion, Soc will:
- Provide notice of the violation or issue;
- Provide a reasonable opportunity to cure where the issue is curable;
- Provide an opportunity to be heard through our appeals process; and
- Where termination is the chosen consequence, ensure that the decision is reviewed by a human (not solely by an automated system), as committed in the Constitution.
9.4 Effects of Termination
Upon termination of your membership for any reason:
- Your access to the Service will end;
- Your content will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Constitution’s deletion provisions;
- Refund treatment will follow Section 3.6;
- Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6.7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16) will continue to apply; and
- If you wish to rejoin Soc in the future, you will be subject to the verification, invitation, and pricing requirements then in effect, and Soc reserves the right to decline to readmit members terminated for cause.
9.5 Memorialization
In the event of a member’s death, the memorialization procedures described in the Soc Constitution will apply. These procedures are separate from termination and provide for the dignified continuation or closure of the deceased member’s account in accordance with their wishes and those of their designated Legacy Contact.
10. Disclaimers
10.1 Service Provided “As Is”
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS OR REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
10.2 Member Content
Soc does not endorse and is not responsible for content posted by members. While we moderate content in accordance with our Community Standards, we cannot and do not guarantee that all content on the Service complies with those standards at all times. You acknowledge that you may encounter content that violates our standards before our moderation systems have addressed it, and you agree to use the reporting features to bring such content to our attention.
10.3 No Professional Advice
Content on Soc may include opinions, statements, or information shared by members. Such content is not professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. You should not rely on member content for any such purpose.
10.4 Third-Party Services
The Service may interact with third-party services (such as payment processors, identity verification providers, and cloud infrastructure providers). Soc is not responsible for the practices of third parties, except as we have explicitly committed in the Constitution and Privacy Policy.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Limitation
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SOC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT SOC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
11.2 Cap
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOC’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO SOC IN MEMBERSHIP DUES IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
11.3 Carve-Outs
The limitations in this Section 11 do not apply to: (a) Soc’s liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud; (b) Soc’s indemnification obligations under Section 12; (c) violations of intellectual property rights; or (d) any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11.4 Basis of the Bargain
You acknowledge that the limitations in this Section 11 are an essential basis of the bargain between you and Soc, and that Soc would not be able to provide the Service on the economic terms offered without these limitations.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Soc and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your content; (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party’s rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) your violation of any applicable law.
Soc reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with Soc’s defense.
13. Dispute Resolution
Soc has chosen a dispute resolution structure that prioritizes resolving disagreements directly with our members through a meaningful internal process, while preserving members’ full legal rights if internal resolution fails. We do not require arbitration, and we do not waive your right to participate in collective legal action. This is a deliberate choice consistent with the Soc Constitution’s commitment to answering to our members.
13.1 Step One: Direct Communication
Before initiating any formal legal action, you agree to first contact Soc to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. You may do so by:
- Using the in-app appeals process for moderation-related disputes;
- Contacting member support for account, billing, or service-related disputes; or
- Sending written notice of the dispute to Soc Network, Inc., Attn: Legal Department, [Address], or by email to legal@soc.com (or such other address as Soc designates).
Your notice should describe the dispute in reasonable detail and the resolution you seek. Soc will respond within thirty (30) days of receipt.
13.2 Step Two: Escalated Internal Review
If the dispute is not resolved through Step One within thirty (30) days, either you or Soc may request escalated internal review. Escalated review will be conducted by a member of Soc’s leadership team or designee with authority to resolve the dispute, who was not involved in the initial response. Escalated review will be completed within thirty (30) additional days.
13.3 Step Three: External Resolution
If the dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days after your initial notice (or such longer period as the parties agree in writing), either party may pursue the dispute in court, subject to the venue and governing law provisions below.
13.4 Venue and Jurisdiction
Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved through the internal process must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. You and Soc each consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.
13.5 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The corporate governance and existence of Soc Network, Inc. are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, the state of incorporation. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
13.6 No Mandatory Arbitration
Soc does not require you to submit disputes to mandatory binding arbitration. Either party may seek to resolve a dispute through arbitration if both parties agree in writing to do so for a specific dispute, but neither party is required to.
13.7 No Class Action Waiver
Soc does not require you to waive your right to participate in class actions or other collective legal proceedings. You retain whatever rights you would have under applicable law to bring or participate in such proceedings, subject to the internal resolution requirement in Sections 13.1–13.3.
13.8 Emergency Relief
Either party may seek emergency injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction without first completing the internal resolution process, where necessary to prevent irreparable harm — including but not limited to claims involving intellectual property infringement, unauthorized access to accounts or data, threats to member safety, or violations of confidentiality.
13.9 Statute of Limitations
You must bring any claim against Soc within one (1) year after the date the cause of action arose, except where applicable law requires a longer period that cannot be shortened by agreement.
13.10 Carve-Outs Required by Law
Nothing in this Section 13 limits or waives any right that cannot be limited or waived under applicable law, including (without limitation) claims under the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act of 2021 or any successor legislation.
14. Special Provisions for Members Under 18
If you are under 18 years of age:
- You represent that you have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service;
- You and your parent or legal guardian agree to be bound by these Terms;
- Your parent or legal guardian is responsible for your use of the Service;
- Additional protections described in the Soc Constitution apply to your account, including audience restrictions, content visibility limits, and additional privacy protections;
- Soc may apply additional verification, monitoring, or restrictions to your account in accordance with applicable child safety laws and our published policies; and
- Your parent or legal guardian may exercise certain rights on your behalf, including data access and deletion rights, in accordance with applicable law.
We encourage parents and guardians to read the Soc Constitution’s Minors section in full and to maintain ongoing communication with their children about their use of the Service.
15. Government and Legal Requests
Our handling of government and legal requests for member data is described in the Soc Constitution’s “Government & Legal Requests” section and in our publicly available Law Enforcement Response Guide, available at [URL]. The Law Enforcement Response Guide describes the legal process Soc requires for different categories of data, how law enforcement may submit valid requests, what Soc will and will not provide voluntarily, and our notification practices. In summary:
- We require valid legal process for non-public member data;
- We notify affected members of requests except where prohibited by law;
- We challenge requests we believe are unlawful;
- We do not voluntarily provide member data to foreign governments outside recognized international legal frameworks; and
- We publish transparency reports summarizing the requests we receive.
16. General Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the other Soc Documents incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Soc regarding the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or understandings on the same subject.
16.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
16.3 No Waiver
Soc’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Soc.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under these Terms without Soc’s prior written consent. Soc may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law, provided that the assignee agrees to be bound by these Terms and that the Constitution’s commitments to members are preserved.
16.5 Force Majeure
Soc is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, government actions, internet or telecommunications failures, pandemics, or other events of force majeure.
16.6 Notices
Soc will provide notices to you through the in-app interface, by email to the address associated with your account, or by posting on the Service. Notices to Soc must be sent to:
Soc Network, Inc. jesse.maloney@soc.info
The registered agent for Soc Network, Inc. in the State of Delaware is Corporation Service Company.
16.7 No Third-Party Beneficiaries
Except as expressly stated, these Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.
16.8 Relationship of the Parties
You and Soc are independent parties. These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, agency, fiduciary, or employment relationship.
16.9 Headings
Headings in these Terms are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
16.10 Interpretation
Where these Terms refer to “including” or “such as,” those words are illustrative and not limiting. Where these Terms grant Soc discretion, that discretion will be exercised reasonably and consistent with the commitments in the Soc Constitution.
16.11 Language
These Terms are written in English. Translations may be provided for convenience, but the English version controls in any conflict.
16.12 Contact
For questions about these Terms, you may contact us at legal@soc.com or through the contact information above.
By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read them, understood them, and agree to be bound by them.
